It’s useful especially when travelling abroad to support you when ordering your favourite dishes among typical, regional and diet foods… Set up the filters to remove or include, with a click, all foods high in cholesterol and sugar levels, spicy foods and vegetarian meals.
The interface is mainly composed by three Tabs:
the first one enables you to browse by categories, dishes, detailed view,
the second one browses through the entire Data Base, supported by a fingertouch alphabetical index search,
the last allows you to use a clear full-text search, starting from a string of chatacters.
The first two interfaces were designed for the selection of your favourite dish, according to your own language.
The Categories View allows you to browse over 19 different food categories, providing the translation of selected dishes and their comprehensive descriptions in four languages.
The Alphabetical Food List, starting from the device’s language settings, through a fingertouch interactive index, is designed to allow rapid access to the description of your favourite foods.
This mode is very useful when you need to know the translation and all the ingredients of the dish.
The Free Search gives the opportunity to select one of the four languages and to search a string typed by the user in the preferred dictionary.
The result of your search will include all the selected entries typed in the search string.
In this broad DB there’s a wide range of italian and foreign traditional dishes.
The search is fast and simple: you just have to type even only a part of the word to search, because the system will automatically select all the dishes containing the fixed parameters.
EX.: SPA
-Asparagus –Asparagus with fried egg –Wild asparagus –Asparagus chicory or puntarelle –Cream of asparagus soup –Spanish omelette –Asparagus omelette. And so on.
The cards include a picture of the dish, the translation of the name in four languages, the description of the ingredients and the flags (cholesterol, spicy, sugar, vegetarian). These flags are to be considered as indicative.
It’s really important to specify that descriptions don’t have accents or symbols, to allow also people who don’t have a device with special characters, to type all the research parameters in the target language.
